සපත්තු පොලිෂ් 




රෝද පාරවල් වලට මැකිච්ච 
කහ ඉරි මත්තෙන් වාහන ඔබ මොබ දුවද්දි
අහක බලාගෙන අගේට මිනිස්සු පාර 
මාරු වෙද්දි
කලු පාට සපත්තු දෙකක්
කහ ඉරි අස්සෙන් 
පාර මරු වෙලා
ඇවිත්

මාමෙ පොලිෂ් කරමුද 
කියල 
කකුල පොලිශ් කොට්ටෙ උඩ තියලා
වයසක මන් දිහා බලපු ඒ
කොල්ලා
තරුණයෙක්

මදින්නට කොස්සක් නැති අපි
රෙද්දෙන් අනික් උදවියගේ දෙන
රුපියලට 
සපත්තු ලෙවකන අපි
මාමෙ කියන වචනයට

නමුත් බියෙන් මුහුන බලද්දි

ඒ දූවිල්ල ගෑවුනේ අපි කියල හිතා ගෙන

මාමා කාලද කියල අහුනෙ
ඒ කලු කලිසමින්මයි
මන් කවදාවත් උදෙටයි හවසටයි 
නොකන බව නොකියා 
ඔව් මහත්තයෝ කියද්දි
